I've been going through my favourites, looking at all the artworks that I've admired for years

it saddens me to see "last active 133 weeks ago" and such

why they left deviantArt I don't know, dA isn't for everyone thats for sure. I can list any possibility.

I remember when Backstreet Boys were the newest, freshest, best thing out but they faded away and someone else took their place

I remember when ssilence, gilad, gwarf and this anime artist, heine? or something use to dominate the front page with every submission...

ahh memories.

Sometimes I wish I stayed in contact, got their flickr or twitter link/whatnot

I guess all I have left is their memories in pixels

I've written about this before

but I guess its most prevalent on dA for me, over time my "usual" bunch of commenters have all but disappeared.

goodbye my old friends, hopefully one day I'll meet you in person and gush how much I admire you and ask you tips and tricks while drinking coffee while understanding that you are indeed a person like you and I.
